About the Artist - Linda Whitman

Welcome! I'm the artist behind Imperfect Overflow. I grew up in an artistic household. My father is a pencil artist and my mother a musician. During high school I work in my fathers art studio in Langley, Washington on Whidbey Island. I started painting at that time. Later in life I attended a women's conference with my church and went to a class on  prophetic painting. This is when I began abstract painting. In 2021 I found fluid painting and I fell in love! My work is inspired by music, mood, color, and the beauty found in imperfection. My husband, Joseph Whitman, is a music artist, when he started releasing his music I painted his record covers. Each design is crafted with intention, bringing art to everyday life through print-on-demand merchandise.
